New version of EctoGears Attenuator; inspired by Adam Savage.
This listing only for a set of finished Attenuator V2. They will come painted and all parts including electronics completed.
Features
- Finished prop
- 28-segment led bargraph.
- Aluminium faceplate with brushed finishing.
- Toggle main switch to turn the attenuator on/off.
- 9 different led bargraph animation including state-base-animations.
- 1.3inch OLED screen display current led bargraph animation mode, speed and lens led color.
- Screen menus to change led bargraph animations , speed and lens led color.
- Adjust Switch Board timing and relay triggers in the menu settings.
- Switch Board is already included and need to be installed in order for the firing animation and relay control to work.
- This Attenuator is wired. Meaning, the pack battery need to be connected to the Relay board which also powers the Attenuator. Both relay board and Attenuator run on 5V .
Relay Trigger
- Relay1 Power On = trigger relay one when loading bar is at 50%
- Pushbutton = manually trigger relay2 for 10 seconds. Pressing it again within the 10 seconds will cancel the manual trigger.
- Other trigger are based on Switch Board states. For example, if relay 2 is set to trigger at Venting, It will trigger during Venting State.
How to wear them ?
- There's two option. This device has a strap clip at the back (removeable). The position is adjustable. Or use a carabiner / key fob to hold the device to your belt.

Note : This is not a 100% plug and play prop. It requires some wiring knowledge and minor soldering. You can go to EctoGears Builders facebook group for installation discussion.

Shipping
- All of the products are made-to-order unless stated otherwise in the product description.
- Estimated 6 to 8 weeks for the prop to be build and preparation for shipping. Unless stated otherwise in the product description
- Shipping is estimated to be around 2 weeks to reach any international addresses.
- All products are shipped from Malaysia, Asia.

Expedited shipping

- The expedited shipping will be handled by Aramex. Shipping estimate is between 3 to 5 business days.

- Due to shipping regulations, liquid or battery are not included.
Electronics
- All the electronics are meant for a 5 volts system unless stated otherwise inside the product description.
- Please use a 5V DC-DC buck to step-down your pack voltage to appropriate voltage.
- If your pack uses Talentcell battery pack, the board can be directly connected to Talentcell USB ports.
- Some project has a specific batteries. Please read the product description.
Material
- All 3d printed parts are resin printed.
- Standard color is matte white.
- All 3d printed parts had the support removed and basic sanding done.
- They might requires some work before spray paint.
- Do note that 3d printed part can deform if left in the heat and break if dropped. Handle with care.
DIY Finishing
- Use plastic primer to coat the first two layer.
- Use filler primer. Sanding with every two layers.
- When surface is smooth, spray your base coat
- Spray your final color
- Clear coat is optional. I usually skip this part.
